On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, MARC's Leslie Lieberman moderated the session Tackling the Biggest Public Health Epidemic: Making Meaningful Change Through Public Policy to Address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) featuring presentations from Wendy Ellis of The George Washington University, Jonathan Purtle of Drexel University, and Aditi Srivastav of the Children's Trust of South Carolina.
Later that day, MARC’s Clare Reidy co-presented with Caitlin O'Brien and Samantha Matlin of the Scattergood Foundation. The session, Trauma-Informed Philanthropy: Moving from Knowledge to Action, was moderated by Suzanne O'Connor of United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
